Tripper Stott Style Zip Spraydeck  £35.00

This spraydeck is recommended for marathon style racing on flat water only.   The deck is made of waterproof fabric and features a zip down the centre of the cover for easy exit and entrance without removing the spraydeck from the cockpit of the boat.    The zip is a high quality nylon zip which will not corrode even when used in salt water.   Note:   The zip is not waterproof.   The zip is complemented at the bodice end by velcro strips on the skirt which have the function of keeping the bodice tops away from the cockpit when entering the boat thus helping to prevent inadvertently sitting on the bodice.

A further feature is a neoprene gasket seal which is sewn between the skirt and the bodice in order to waterproof the stitch line in this critical area.

Tripper Adjustable Racing Zip Spraydeck  £35.00

Tripper River Racer Spraydeck  £45.00

Manufactured from 100% waterproof fabric, the spraydeck is designed for racing kayaks and incorporates several features which are helpful for use on flowing waters.   The spraydeck has webbing shoulder straps, elasticated for unrestricted movement of the torso.   The shoulder straps have adjustable buckles for setting the height of the bodice of the cover.   These adjusters are attached to breakaway velcro fastened sections for quick release in case of an emergency.   The bodice has two layers of elastic for sealing around the paddlers’ midriff, one of which is attached to drawcords which can be tightened or loosened depending on the intensity of white water being paddled

Tripper Paddle Bag  £30.00

These covers are constructed from four layers of coated nylon fabric with duvet batting insert providing scratch and impact protection for paddles.   The cover will accommodate a split wing paddle.   The cover carries a top quality chain nylon zip around the blade end.   The cover has a double webbing handle at the balance point as well as a detachable shoulder strap.   The cover will not absorb water, nor will it rot and is light and easy to use and store.

Pogies are paddle mitts made of coated nylon, using velcro to secure around the paddle shaft allowing the paddler to grip the shaft in the normal way while keeping water and wind off the hands.

The Standard / Low seat has a 15mm lower paddling position and is perfect for the paddler that requires more stability. The seat has 2 height settings and no change of pitch. With forward and backward adjustment of 143mm at 7.5mm increments gives fine adjustment for leg positioning, allows you to achieve your optimum paddling position.

Front Slotted Footrest  £42.00

The slotted front footrest plate can fit in most makes of racing kayaks. The footplate, made from 9mm marine plywood, gives excellent strength and durability. The 12mm wide tiller bar slot is designed to take our 10mm thick tiller bar

The plate has radius edges for comfort. Supplied without bolt holes for positioning on different makes of footrest unit.

Plywood has good weight to strength ratio, with thermal properties for winter paddling.

Tiller T-Bar -210mm £19.50 – 280mm £22.00

Tiller Bars are available in two widths: 210mm for racing kayaks and 280mm for touring kayaks.

Made of hardwood with a drilled system for the rudder wire to be in one continuous length, no joints or fittings to go wrong.  For positive steering the rudder wires need to be held at maximum width, achieved by our end drilling system. A correctly fitted tiller bar can last for over 30years (see fitting below).

Tiller bar fitting

The tiller bar support should hold the bar at the same level as the footrest slot.

The wire feeds should be at the same level as the ends of the tiller bar, if not they will pull the bar up or down in the footrest slot creating unnecessary friction and wear.

When fitted, the tiller bar should move easily from side to side.

Do not over tighten the pivot bolt as the wood will expand in damp conditions, allow 0.5mm gap.

Aluminium Tiller Cross Bar -210mm £18.00

This aluminium bar that holds the tiller bar onto the footrest side plates. We have spares on hand if you need them. Like the footrest, this can be moved forwards or back using the thumb nuts for optimal gearing.

For use with our standard front footrest only and we recommending raising this bar by 12mm using an extra pair of thumb nuts. Comes with fittings.

Rudder Wheel K2 Large £11.00

 A large rudder wheel makes rudder adjustment easier, but will also require a greater degree of foot movement.

Most suitable for larger boats where cockpit space permits. Diameter 80mm (not pictured). Comes with two brass cable nipples.

Rudder wheel K1 or K2 standard – £10.00

The standard rudder wheel used with most of our boats. The diameter of 6cm offers a good compromise between the travel of the tiller and ease of movement. Comes with two brass cable nipples.

Rudder Understern K1 £20.00

Our standard understern K1 rudder with a stem length of approximately 13.1cm (rudder to thread top) with a diameter of 8mm.

For rudder tube length of approximately 110mm. Moulded from black plastic, these rudders are low-cost and durable.

ND GPS and Watch Mount £13.00

All the best designs are simple in design and work well – this is no exception! Two suction cups mount the unit onto the deck of your racing boat, enabling you to secure your watch or GPS unit in full view.

Plastic flexible tubing allows the unit to mould to the shape of different decks. Two suction cups keep it secure. We do recommend the additional security of a retaining string just in case, with more expensive watches and gps units!

V-Bar Aero with fittings  £115.00

Convenient and aerodynamic. This version of the V-Bar boasts easily removable ends. This means you can leave the 7ft bar on your car as a permanent fixture, saving you precious minutes every time you want to take the kayak out. The kit comes with two standard U-Bolts or T-slots and two bungees that can be looped over the pegs on the Vs. It is advisable that one rigid strap or rope also be loosely tightened around the centre of the boat, to safeguard against the rare occasion where the boat may be lifted in strong winds.

The bar profile is 1.5in square. The standard V’s are set at an angle of approximately 90 degrees with a length of 12inches

The shallow V’s are set at an angle of approximately 120 degrees with a length of 12 inches. Generally, boats with a stability of 6 or higher will benefit from one shallow V at the back. Stability 10 racing boats are often best with two shallow Vs. Note that very wide touring-style boats will not be suitable for this racking system.

V-Bar T-Slot Bolt  £9.50

Stainless steel bolts are usually used with oval aerodynamic roof bars where a T-Slots is available. The 2cm flat piece of the screw can be slid along the roof bar giving a secure fitting. The V-bar is clamped down by the aluminium cross bar.

V-Bar Universal Bolt  £12.50

If your car roof bars are very wide, then you’ll need our universal bolt. The extended U-bolts fit over the V-Bar and held in place by a large aluminium plate. It will fit bars up to 6cm wide and 4.5cm deep. Additional holes have been drilled in the plate to suit a wide range of roof racks.
